The Booking Policy controls the entire customer experience — from how they pay (if at all) to how far in advance they can book to whether they can cancel themselves.

Where to configure

/admin/settings/booking — accessible from the sidebar under Settings → Booking.

Booking mode (the big one)

Choose one of three modes:
Bookings are instantly confirmed the moment a customer submits. No approval needed, no payment required.Best for: Established businesses with predictable demand and reliable customers.Trade-off: Higher no-show risk because there’s no financial commitment from the customer.

Deposit rules

If you choose Require Payment, you can demand either:
  • Full payment of the service price, or
  • A deposit — either a fixed amount (e.g., ₱200) or a percentage of the price (e.g., 30%).
The remaining balance is collected in-person at the appointment.

Customer cancellations & rescheduling

Toggle independently:
  • Allow customers to cancel their own bookings. They use the self-serve link in their confirmation email.
  • Allow customers to reschedule their own bookings (to any other available slot).
When disabled, customers must contact you to make changes.

Cancellation cutoff

How many hours before the appointment a customer is still allowed to cancel/reschedule. Example: 24 means customers can cancel up to 24 hours before — closer than that, they must contact you (which gives you a chance to keep the deposit if applicable).

Notice & lead time

Two timing controls:
  • Minimum notice (minutes) — Customers can’t book for sooner than X minutes from now. Common values: 60 (1 hour), 120 (2 hours).
  • Maximum days ahead — How far into the future bookings can go. Common values: 30, 60, 90.

What happens when policy changes

Changes to booking policy only affect new bookings. Existing bookings continue under whatever policy was active when they were made.
